October - Month of Soul Winning and Special Giving

The month of October is the month of Soul Winning and Special Giving. The words that go forth to the people you meet this month will be special words that have the ability to change their circumstance.

As a reminder, the christian cannot die young because he has been given a task and he has a purpose. God's purpose must always be fulfilled and when you give yourself fully to that purpose the hand of God is guidig you and keeping you.

As you go out, go with your Rhapsody of Realities the bless people you come into contact with.

Finances are important so invest in the one whose rate of return surpasses anything that man can give. The bible declares that it's more blessed to give than to receive so do what it says. God is depending on His people to make things happen on the earth. Deal with God as though you are the only one that God has to do his work on the earth. Be a big time sponsor of the gospel like it depends on you alone

Arise and Shine

Isaiah 60:1-4 - God calls us to get up and shine. He says, " Look up!... See!" Something is happening and God wants us to see. If it were obvious, He wouldn't emphasis the seeing so look and see what has been given to you. Kings come to the brightness of your rising. Impossible? definitely not, all you have to do is arise.

The bible speaks in the above text of the darkness all around however we are also told that the brightness of the christian will be greater than ever before. The darker the night, the brighter the light shines. Hallelujah

When you believe God for a thing don't doubt, keep talking, keep up your confession and let the devil be defeated. The news around and the confessions of others maybe contrary to your belief or the things that you see may be the opposite of that thing we have declared and seen in the spirit. Don't relent on your confession but keep talking, don't give, don't give in. You are a winner not a looser, you don't fail, you are a victor in life, an overcomer, more than conqueror.
Roms. 8:28 says "All things work together for your good because you love God" The glory of God is upon your life, you are special to him and full of his favour.

It's never too late because the monarch of the universe is on your side, He's the restorer, your standby, all that you'll ever need. Keep talking it because glorious things are spoken of you since the one that started a good work in you will complete it. He started it so he'll finish it because faithful is he that called you to himself and he will do it because He said so. Hallelujah

Vigil Intro

Psalms 67:2 was a deep and heart felt prayer of David to preach the gospel everywhere. This should be the desire of all people. If we don't preach the gospel. no one will. Paul preached it, Peter did and so must we as this is our time. We have been equiped to do this task with all that we require to ensure that the task is fulfilled.
Your position in the world has been divinely orchestrated, cease the opportnity and affect the lives of all those you are coming in contact with.
As you pray and make declarations tonight, our minds wll be flooded with divine insight for the next quarter that we may fulfil our God given purpose for the coming days.

Be Strong in Faith

In Rhapsody of realities today, Pastor Chris shares on been strong in faith (Romans 4:19-21). Strong faith never gives up. With strong faith, you do not cower or bow down under any pressure.

Strong faith has a voice that declares what the word of God says concerning any situation regardless of what the facts are. Faith doesn't suddenly become strong but is built up my reason of use. See 1 John and Hebrews

Make a concerted effort to build your faith up stronger everyday by exercising it. The devil does not sleep so there is ample opportunity to be able to do do this. It's for your promotion, for your success, for your greatness and definitely to the glory of God.

Pastor talks extensively on this subject in the book entitled How To Make Your Faith Work.

Say this prayer today and build your faith up till it is very strong.
Father thank you for my faith in you is the victory that has overcome the world! As i take my uncompromising stand on your word i know that my progress and profitting will be visible to all in Jesus' Name

Recognize what God has made you

He has already made you rich (Deut. 8:18) 2 Peter 1 also says "May grace (God's favor) and peace (which is [a]perfect well-being, all necessary good, all spiritual prosperity, and [b]freedom from fears and agitating passions and moral conflicts) be multiplied to you in [the full, personal, [c]precise, and correct] knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord"

He's means he's given you divine health. He has made you an overcomer and a bundle of success. You've been made the head not the tail. You've been blessed with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places

Midweek Service - Using the Name Of Jesus

We have been given the power of attorney to use the name of Jesus in life so we need to know how to use the name of Jesus properly.

John 16:23 says … and in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you…

The name of Jesus is yours to use. When you ask in his name, you are in his place. Turning the name down is equivalent to turning Jesus down so it’s impossible to be refused when asking in the name of Jesus.

IMPORTANT – It says nothing about faith of the man asking in the above scripture.

1 John 5:13
These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us. And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

He says if we ask he hears us. It also says that once we know that we’ve been heard then we have what we ask. It’s that simple, that straight forward. It’s only acceptable to the mind of the recreated man not the natural so many may not understand it.

John 16:23 says ...hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full...

Asking in Jesus' name is the new deal that Jesus brought. He clarified that he’s not standing in our place to ask God but that the individual ought to ask directly from God. See John 16: 26 which says “At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you: For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God”. The correct way to ask according to God's will is to ask in the name of Jesus, so ask.

Do not loose out by not using the name of Jesus in your life today

Phillippians 2:9 - Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10 That at/in/by (Grk. EN - referes to something having an instrumental nature) the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

The name of Jesus has an instrumental nature and that nature kicks in when the it is used by the Christian

Build your house on the Rock

Luke 6:47-48 talks about building on a solid rock. It's a key principle for living a life of fulfilment and victory. Rising and falling is not for the christian. The way a person builds their life from the foundation up  is important. Brick by brick through the word of God life can always be on a upward trajectory, full of happiness, joy, peace and all that the word of God makes provides for.

What foundation are you building on? Jesus has shown us that the way to build your life on the solid rock is by doing God's word. That way, no negative force or circumstance can prevail against you. when the symbolic floods of fear, sickness, lack and want beat against you, you will remain standing.
Remember the foundation makes the difference. There is profiting in building on a solid rock. It'll keep you standing when all else fails. (Rhapsody of Realities - Sept. 2007)

You can say this prayer today,

Dear Father, thank you for the power that's in your word. As i hear it, speak it  and put it to work everyday, my life is being built on a secure and unshakeable foundation. Thus no situation is powerful enough to overwhelm me in this life because i am a doer of the word. Amen

Have a great day and stay blessed

Sermon - 23rd Sept - Pastor Kay

John 17:12-end

Thought 1 - We are not of the world, we are of God
Always remind yourself that you are not of this world. Jesus prayed that while still in the world, we ought to be victors over life. The life of the christian is a sample for the world to see. All those challenges that come your way are for your victory. For your promotion and your increase. christians have been called to be

Thought 2 - Live by the word
The word of God is our cleanser. Now that we are in God, we must function by his word. Spend time with the word to see what it says about you

Thought 3 - We are sent just like God send Jesus
The christian is a person on a mission. The reason for remaining alive is because the christian has an assignment from God. no matter what the situation is, the christian cannot be shaken or fearful because he is on a mission and as such he can't be defeated or killed by sickness, disease or any such thing. Moses is an example. He was sent to Pharoah, the most important man of the day to tell him to release the isrealites and Pharoah had to comply.
Daily you go out to win. The devil can only bite his finger from afar about you. Knowing that you are a man on a mission is very important because he sets your direction and and gives you focus. We have been given the way out and we ought to show it to all people everywhere that their lives be transformed for the glory of God

Thought 4 - He wants our Joy to be full (Jn 17:13,15:11)
Religion does not teach this i.e. that God wants your joy to be full. Life is not meant to be up today and down tomorrow. The scripture teaches us that we always live the up life, the good life. When  you know this you'll be free from worry wrinkles, always smiling, careful for nothing, unworried about tomorrow because you have the assurance of God who knows tomorrow. This is the plan for you, the prayers of Jesus for us as Christians and because he died and rose again, the plan of salvation was successful so nothing can make your joy less than full

Thought 5 - The world needs to know that God loves you as much as he loves Jesus (Jn. 17:23)
Everyone needs to know that you are the apple of God's eye. Religion does not proclaim this.

Thought 6 - You are a carrier of God's glory(Jn 17:22)

Remember all the thoughts that were shared above and have a great week because that's the week that you have been called to have. Remember that you cannot be defeated, disappointed and that all things are working together for you. Where people are falling over, you will shine the light and show the way.

Sermon Intro - What is the Gospel? Pastor Kay

The gospel is good news. Christianity is not a religion. It's the life of God at work in man today. Religion condemns, makes people feel how unholy they are and shows men that they are sinners. This was the way man was before Jesus came. Jesus came to bring the good news saying,"for those who are condemned you are no longer condemned. Those who are sick you are now made whole"

Thought 1 - You are as valuable to God as Jesus is to God.
Christ did not come because we were many. If  you were the only one around, Jesus would still have come.

The value of an item is in the price that was paid for it. The blood that was shed was heaven's best. The most precious thing God had was used to pay for you. It shows us that the christian is a valuable person, worth heaven's best.

Romans 8:1 bears this out. It says,"therefore there is therfore now no condemnation for those that are in Christ Jesus". God is not mad at you. Jesus came to enable you to live a life of joy and fufilment. Even when you make mistakes, Christ came to ensure that you can pick yourself up and go on living the glorious life.
2 Corinthians 5:17 says you are  new creation. Old things have passed away and all things have become new. You are precious to God. Always remember that.
John 17

PCU Outreach - Joy In the Holy Ghost

We had our outreach yesterday and had a glorious time in the presence of God. We discovered from the word of God what it means to have and enjoy the joy of the Holy Ghost.

Jesus said in John 15:11, "I've told you these things, that My joy and delight may be in you, an that your joy and gladness may be of full measure and complete and overflowing "
The joy of the Holy Ghost is always there in the spirit of every person who is born again. It gets there the moment the person accepts Christ as his/her Lord and Saviour. As such every Christian should never experience dryness in his/her life.

As a christian, the kingdom to which you belong is described in Romans 14:17-18, "the kingdom of God is not a matter of food and drink, but instead it is righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Ghost. He who serves Christ in this way is acceptable and pleasing to God and approved of men"

The joy of the holy ghost in the christian puts him over wherever he/she goes. He is a winner and victorious. He stands out in the crowd and shines for all to see.

Our time at the outreach was great, we enjoyed the message, the music and the company. We look forward to the next one in October. Service is on tomorrow and i look forward to hearing words that will set me up for a glorious week ahead.

Stay blessed
