You are the Righteousness of God in Christ Jesus

Righteousness. What is it? Can anyone attain it?
As a Christian you are the righteousness of God. The bible says,"they which have received the abundance of grace and the GIFT of righteousness shall reign in life through one Christ Jesus" Romans 5:17. Righteousness is a gift and like Pastor Chris says,

"It is the ability to stand before God without a sense of guilt, inferiority and condemnation"

The bible clearly states in 2 Corinthians 5:21 that

He was made sin for us who knew no sin, that we might be the righteousness of God in Him

so the Born Again Christian is righteous because God has made him so. Righteousness is a vast topic but for now it's sufficient to know that therighteousness of God in you allows you to pray and expect answers, gives you mastery over the devil and produces in you the ability to do right. Dear Father, thank you for giving e your righteousness as a gift and inspiring in me the conciousness that i'm as righteous as Jesus is righteous.
